New Years Day (yes one day later than the real celebration)
Ok, so New Years Eve is usually the big night for partying this time of year...and it still is since it is my wife's birthday (29th to be exact), but this year we are going to delay the festivities until January 1...Why you ask? The Avett Brothers are coming into the ATL and performing at the Fox Theater and of course we just love The Avett Brothers!
This will be my third show and my wife's fourth. So excited to see them perform their new album "I, Love & You", as well as some of their older stuff. The wife's bro, sis and dad are coming up from Pensacola to partake in the festivities.
Definetly think you should check'em out, download their tunes and start rocking. The music is full of emotions, full of fun and worth every note created by the group.
Little Background on The Avett Brothers:
Created from Seth and Scotts former rock band Nemo, the Avett Brothers combine Bluegrass, country, punk, pop, folk, rock and roll, honky tonk and ragtime to create a sound described by the San Fransico Chronicle as having the "heavy sadness of Townes Van Zandt, the light pop concision of Buddy Holly, the tuneful jangle of the Beatle, and the raw energy of the Ramones."

Dont want to have a little Bin Laden or Hitler running around?
This new condom ad from Germany is pretty clever but the message is not so clear.
1. Use a condom and make sure you don't bring a another Bin Laden or Hitler into this world.
or
2. Use a condom and make sure Bin Laden or Hitler do not infiltrate your lady friends vagina-damn terrorists.
I wonder if the "W" version of this ad will be popping out soon?

Hair Cuttery Red Carpet Grand Opening @ SODO
Here was my attempt to make something more special than what is typically done. Red Carpet Grand Opening @ HC SODO in Orlando.
We had a Bay Hill Studios help us out with photography, Massage Envy giving free chair messages and our stylist kicking some ass with cuts, color and highlights.
We did around $1300 in revenue on day one! Going to be a great location and can't wait to see it grow into a million dollar store.
Click the image of the red carpet and you will be taken to Bay Hill Studios. Go to the proofing section and enter code "hc". There you can view the images of our event.
Thanks to everyone that stopped by from all the other retail stores in and around SODO.

Girl Talk
So we went to see Girl Talk on Saturday night @ Club Firestone in Orlando. What a blast. We danced our asses off full of Red Bull and Vodka.
Ashley gets it from her momma and well I probably look like a freak.
Here are some pictures from the concert. Click the picture above.
Make sure you check out Girl Talk at your earliest convenience!

Four Bucks Is Dumb!
McCafe is bringing the heat! Now serving espresso drinks.
Whats does Starbucks say?
“Average price of our latte is $3.25.”
Will premium brands continue to reposition during this economic disaster? I think they will especially as consumers start to tighten their pockets and change their habits.
Perception is reality and there are tons of sheep out there not willing to do a competitive analysis.

Air Revolution-kinda new shoes
Burger King Studios
You just have to love what CPB advertising agency has done for the Burger King Brand. In this installment BK lets you create your own piece of art, on t-shirts. Everything is inspired by BK and cutting edge artists and designers.
Very similar to Nike ID. I love all the different elements you can use-so many options. Gotta love brand fanatics and how they can help shape the image of your brand-but that's another topic.
